This is why women and girls are very important
This peace is dedicated to all the girl children worldwide.
I am a man and I believe in the existence of girls and women as a whole. I am aware of the fact that all over the world girls are discriminated and abused. I am aware of the fact that girls far outnumber boys. It’s common in all societies and ours here in Buea Cameroon West Africa is not an exception.
This is the reason why I write this letter
I write this article to let you, women and girls know that you are powerful. There is a myth being spread around the world today that women are the weaker vessels.
I say no to that. I am a man I have lived as a man all my life but I want you girl child to know that you are stronger than us boys. You can resist far more than what we can resist. So cheer up, put on a smile and brace up for you rock.
You are unique and have a voice. Girl child I speak to you as a brother, as a friend, as a male figure and as a loved one to let you know that you have a voice. Your opinion counts and is worth being shared and expressed. Don’t sit in your corner and yield to the sting society has placed on you. Your voice counts so express it.
